Wonderful dark comedy series about a family that run a funeral home.

Originally watched some of it 20 odd years ago, and remember enjoying it. Then recently I was reading about how it had one of the best series endings of all time, yet I couldn't remember what it was, probably because it aired at a time when streaming didn't exist and if you didn't' watch every week you fell out of sync and forgot about a show forever...until now.

I'm currently on season 2 of my rewatch and so far it's great. ****** up family dynamics, a lot of comedy, holding up really well overall after 20 years.

It's currently available to stream on the US Netflix as well as wherever HBO content is available, so I guess Sky in the UK if you don't have a VPN.

Definitely work checking out. It also features a wonderful Michael C Hall before Dexter. Peter Krause is also excellent as the other brother, however he doesn't seem to have been in too much since.

I just finished watching this. I was destroyed by the end. There's no point in trying to describe it other than, easily one of the top greatest TV show of all time. You must watch it. I only wished I had watched it 20 years ago so I could re-watch it as my perspective on life changes. Can't wait to rewatch it.

Amazing show, watched a couple years ago for the first time. It's great binge watching like that, and oh what a great ending.

I just finished watching it for the 2nd time, the first being over 20 years ago (!?!).

Not quite sure if it's because I'm older now, with more perspective and life experience, but good Lord this show broke me.

I'm having some kind of existential crisis right now, about life, relationships, etc - what does it all mean?!

Very profound, very depressing.

I'm about 3/4 of the way through, first watch. Had to take a break as it was getting a bit all consuming and bleak.

Specifically the plot around Nate's wife

Will get back to it some day, enjoyed what I've seen.
