The sixaxis failed?
So it still has the motion/tilt sensors in?
Yes.

How does the rumble not affect it?
Now all I need is a slightly bigger version with the dpad swapped with the left analogue stick and better triggers and I'd be happy![]()
No way!! 10 years of experience aint going down the pan, different analog stick locations = :\. The only thing that would improve the pad now is if they improved the sensitivity of the triggers, but without loosing the accessibility to the other shoulder buttons!
It's just my opinion as the stick placement and small size hurts my hands. The sticks are only placed there because they were stuck onto the original PS1 pad, not because any ergonomic research said it was best to place it there.
Look familiar to anyone?
shame i prefferd the sixaxiss from the dualshock 3, i never like the rumble feature, find it annoying.
I don't think the original had longer handles, the dual shock controller handles were just made fatter to accomodate the rumble feature.didnt the original ps1 pads have longer side...thingies?

Yeah, the original PS pads definitely had longer handles, not sure if it was just the Jap. versions or what though.
Not sure if the EU got shorter ones straight from the off, or if they were introduced later.
