Skate!

lol, I just liked the daft story of American Wasteland. It felt the most similar to Tony Hawks 3 in terms of gameplay also.

Project 8 was a monstrosity and the THUG series are a joke.

i really enjoyed the thug games though :o , completed em both , infact TH is one of the series i always end up completing
 
Im definitely looking forward to skate more but i've been a diehard THPS fan since 2 so i'll probably end up getting both. THPG's branching story line and video editor both look excellent (the video editor being the main thing its got over skate at the moment imo)

Argh they keep releasing awesome videos, this amounts to torture :(


Demo looks to be released on Tuesday and according to the skate forums we get it at a comfortable 10am :cool:

Demo should be out now (was due at 10am) im at work so i cant check but i'll download it when i get home tonight.


Oh and lol the EA site has gone down :D
 
AWESOME. I hope you are right. I can't wait to try this. I hope the controls feel natural after years of playing THPS.

I really hope this lives up to expectations. Can anyone check if demo is up?
 
ARGH i've been waiting for weeks for this and i have to work until 8 tonight :mad:


Luckily i've hired my sister to turn on my 360 and downlaod it for me, so bar any biochock problems it'll be waiting for me


Confirmed details:


The demo lets you play for 30 mins (timer pauses when the game is paused) but you have to play the tutorial each time, good players should be able to breeze through the tutorial very quickly though.
 
The best part about skating games is the crashes. So if a game can properly nail the sort of crashes which make you flinch then its a winner for me
 
hmm, set it off downloading just after 10am, just went downstairs to play on it, 5% done :(


its Bioshock all over again, its getting a bit crap this to be honest, downlaods used to be so quick, the last few major demos have be slow as hell. Hopefully it will speed up in a few days.
 
I get the first 5% in 30 seconds but then it just stops. If I cancel and delete it and then start downloading again it will get to 5% really quickly and then just stops again! :mad:
