Sketchup - Possible to apply image to a round face?

Hi all,

In sketchup, I'm drawing something of similar shape to a shave gel canister. I would like to apply an image that wraps around this canister shape.

Is this possible in Sketchup?

Yup, if you make the image and save it as any image format, you can create a material and apply it to the canister in sketchup. Then all you have to do is adjust the scale so it fills the canister to the size you want

Bear in mind that sketchup can't actually draw curves. It just facets loads of flat faces. If you want a smoother curve then increase the number of lines when you draw the shape.
