I'm off skiing in a fortnight and fancy buying a helmet cam so I can make a few vids of me following my mates down the slopes.

It's only for a bit of fun so don't want to spend a fortune, will £150ish get anything decent? I might use it for mountain biking and motorcycling when I'm back too I guess.

Must be simple to use and not too big, I don't fancy a huge camera hanging off my helmet. Anyone got any advice?

As mentioned - Get yourself a GoPro HD helmet Hero 1080p.

I bought one before i went skiing in Whistler this year and got some quality footage. Brilliant little camera. Took about 15 hours of video but haven't been bothered to edit it down to about 10 minutes so i can put it up on youtube...

Where did you buy it from please?

going to bump this up again.

Where did you buy it please? Going snowboarding next week and would like to buy one before I leave cheers.

You can get the HD Motorsport Hero for £155 from the rainforest which is a bargain and then just buy whatever extra mounts you fancy. The chesty gives a great perspective.

I did look there? Maybe I was looking at the wrong product.

Cheers will have a look again.
