Skipping Check Disk?

Hi,

Having a problem with check disk just freezing on test 5, and pressing any key doesn't skip it.

Tried with both PS2 and USB keyboard, so any other way around it?

Let it finish. It it doesn't/won't finish then you could have a disk fault, which is why you run the disk check in the first place.

Yes, I know and understand that but the thing is it doesn't finish. It's been on 0% for over an hour as my friend came back at 7pm and it was 0% before he left at 6.

Still need to get access to the O/S.
