I know OcUK seems to have the internet fad of saying "I accidentally my xxxx".

I'm not sure where this originated from, but I seem to have this problem quite frequently when I type. In that I say a word in my head, but when I read the sentence over again I've missed that word out.

Is this some type of dyslexia? Or is it just a case of "To err is human"

It's just a fad. It'll get boring soon enough and then either it'll die out on its own or it'll get banned. :)

No idea where it came from, along with half a dozen other current fads that are circulating here. Probably 4chan or the likes, as usual. :)

My mum has an annoying habit of missing words out off sentences

eg.

"I need to go loo" instead of "I need to go to the loo" or "I went bed" instead of "I went too bed".

Umm that wasn't my point, I'm saying I do the same thing but accidentally

Gotcha. Misunderstanding. It's probably related to Dyslexia but I'm not sure if it comes directly under that heading.

Know Your Memes dot Com.

At doing it without meaning too, you are typing too quickly for your brain to cope.

It's usually people from Manchester that do it round here, and it irritates the crap out of me.

"I accidentally my vocabulary"
I've noticed it as a Mancunian thing as well, I've caught myself doing it several times, when talking to people at work, it upsets me as soon as I realise

Hehe yea it happens a lot in Manc, speshly Bolton/Bury/Rochdale areas.

It is just a northern/Yorkshire thing tbh.

We are all too busy workin 27hr days down pit to speak full sentences.

To err is human; to really foul things up use a computer!

It's to easy to mind dump to the keyboard, however I find that sometimes my fingers don't keep up. Editing is another such point. All to easy with immediate posting.

I'll often edit a post to correct things. However in the grand scheme of things the post is only a transitory thing. However missing words annoy!

OH SNAP, didn't see the dodgy pics in that.

Google suggest "i accidentally" for the encyclopedia dramatica definition :p
