Average probably yes. Max we had was 1 40yd skip per apartment and that was a big project in Woking. That's all not including excavated material away or any demolition material away.
Anything brick and block generates lots of waste, plasterboard BG guidance recommends that you board over doorways and windows with a whole sheet then cut the doorway or window out so you don't get the cracking at the corners (most don't do this) so you get a sheet the size of a door or window that's unusable, one for each side and probably 1/2 a 8yd skip just there, anyone who's fitted a Howdens kitchen will know the amount of packaging that they come with, doors come wrapped in protection material, it's mostly packaging and we allow 5 - 10% waste on most materials for cuts etc and then all our own protection materials because one trade doesn't care about previous work so 9/10 if we haven't covered it in correx or bubble wrap it'll get damaged
We try and use compactors but skip companies don't like it and have started charging based on weight rather than load.
The only waste that never goes in the skip is cable and copper funnily enough.
