Skittles Vodka - How & What flavour combinations should I use?

Dont forget to coat the skittles in mustard in order to off set the sugar in the Vodka and remove the toxins created from the chemical reaction.
 
hmm i should try that sometimes all you gotta do is get some skittles a bottle of vodka, get the greens out and put the rest in and that's it? skittles vodka ? :O

Well you get a load of hydrogenated fats at the top after the skittles have gone, so you've got to filter that off. Apart from that, though ... yeah.

Lots of the online sites forget to mention that the skittles should be coated in a condiment such as mustard or marmite. Otherwise the skittles outer shell reacts with the vodka to create a neurotoxin known as elbillugtoxin. It can cause paralysis in extreme cases.

But as AN Other says you need to remove the collected toxins afterwards.
 
Cheers for that, I've given them a little glazing over of Coleman's mustard, only lightly, they started to sprout a bit of hair, but then I read that that is just the sugar cane roots reforming, it looks nice and bright orange at the moment.

Going for more vodka soon, so I can make green & yellow flavour. Might make some vanilla vodka too. :p
 
My mate did this, had a 70cl bottle of vodka and 2 big bags of skittles, he just put them all in, left it for 30mins and drained the skittles off.

And its tasted bloody awful!

because thats not the way to make Skittles Vodka.

I've heard of this as well. The paralysis is often confused with drunkeness in its early stages. In fact, the Russians vapourised it and put it into the air conditioning system to paralyse the theatre terrorists before their special forces went in a few years back.
 
2 big bags of skittles, using only Orange, Red and Yellow and 1 litre of vodka. Shake until dissolved then leave for a week. Sieve the wax and enjoy.
