It will be a VAG-COM modification which the dealer may not want to change. Then again, wave money in front of them and they'll probably do it anyway.
Alternatively, you could buy VAG-COM and a cable yourself and try working out the correct code. Just make sure you're in the right control module first and know the correct code. Don't want something else breaking.![]()

The other wires are for side airbags and for seat heating (if you have these) but its pretty obvious which goes to the seatbelt fastener
