Sky Broadband

Hiya,

I got Sky Broadband yesterday. I was really impressed with it at first, getting 1.3mb downloads constantly.

Now the net seems to drop out every few minutes. Sometimes it reconnects its self, others I have to reboot the router.

I've tried these things to fix it.

1- Upgraded firmware on the router. - This doesn't seem to have made much difference
2- Tried a different router. - Its actually the same model, this seems to work but for some reason the download speed doesn't get past half of what it is with the other router, could this be to do with the firmware on it?

I've tried the different socket on the phone line with out much success. I'm not using any extension leeds and it doesn't matter if I use wireless or wired.

Any help would really be appreciated.

Ahhh, the old router which works consistently has fine speeds through a cable but slower speeds through wireless.

The other router is fine through wireless!
