Sky broadband

Ok, moved into the new place. Couldn't go with sky unfortunately since there's no dish here and installing one is not an option due to landlord issues etc. Went with virgin for tv, but do not under any circumstances want to go with them for internet. I absolutely detest the traffic management policy they have in place. I want to get what I pay for, not less because I went over some limit on an unlimited package.

Anyway, am considering UK online now. Just wondering how it compared to BE which other people have been recommending and to O2? Also, Titan ADSL.

Whenever I run comparisons, they all seem quite close, with Zen clearly in the lead, lol. But was just wondering if people on here had any experience with them? From what I hear, BE and O2 both have never enforced their fair usage policy.

Also, rainmaker, you were right. I called up UK online and they said that since my line was unbundled, I wouldn't be subject to a fair usage policy. do you have any idea if that's somethign they would give in writing?

I dunno mate, but as I said:

I pull between 500GB and 1TB a month on UKO and they never ask questions.

I've been with them a year and a half now, and service is as good as ever. You won't go wrong mate, trust me lol Yes you'll need to buy their DG834GT but it's only a condition you BUY it not that you USE it. ;) They don't care what router you run (unlike Sky) so long as you don't whine at tech support that WeirdRouterBrandXYZ won't work.

Forget FUPs etc, you'll never have any issues. I get 2.2 to 2.3 MB/sec downstream 24/7/365, and run several servers too. No issues. Just sign up, then post back in about 10 days to tell me how right I was. :p:D
