Sky Broardband problems

Does any one else have problems where the connection just drops for no reason?

Not when I first moved over, however, no I've gone onto their Max package and LLU the connection does drop now and again which locks the router?

Not sure if this is connected or I just might need them to send me another router.

Does it to me from time to time, but still within the 1st week of it, so expected. Plus im getting double the speed of virgin which virgin promised I couldn't get on my line

Plus getting there max for free so can't complain

I have just left mine and it was downloading something at quite a normal speed i then can on here and my GF went on the laptop it it went right donw to about 1k!

if its more than every 15-17 minutes then its the line itself or the router and as such will need diagnosed from sky. Phone them go through the motions if its the router they will send one or create a ticket for a higher technical department.

I was getting a similar problem with sky. The internet connection would stop working even though the router was still syncing

I noticed that my SNR was at 6.7db on the router, I increased the snr target to at least 12 using this utility and haven't had a problem since.
This makes the sync speed a bit slower but it's more stable.
