Hi all, how long do you have to wait if you cancel sky package/subscription and then want to rejoin again at the same property?
In that if you are going to move into somewhere new, where there is already sky. When you move in you want sky tv + broadband + telephone and want to signup a new subscription as you get a better deal rather than taking over an existing one?
(virgin cable is not available at the property)

It's supposed to be 12 months until you become a 'new customer'.

They shouldn't allow you to take over an existing customers account. They won't change names on accounts at all.

so it is a 31 day notice period to cancel exisiting sky package. In order to start a new package at the same propery for new tentant(s) am i right in assuming that you have to wait for the 31 days to expire and then another 2 weeks~ to install the new package?
Thanks in advance.

"how long do you have to wait if you cancel sky package/subscription and then want to rejoin again at the same property?"

as a new customer under the same name? a year

as a new customer under a different name? then whenever you want

as an existing customer? then whenever you want

you cannot take over someone else's subscription i would think, not legally anyway. therefore in this situation you would either use your own existing sub and transfer it to the new house by phoning up sky and telling them your moving to a new address or cancel your existing sub and sign up as a new customer at the new address
