i am having some problems with my sky

Sky movies 1-10 are not working and so is sky sports 3 but everything else is working fine

we have multiroom everything downstairs is working fine

Enyone else having problems?

Went to my Bro In Laws yesterday and his Sky Digital picture is worse than a coathanger going into a portable TV. All the scarts are plugged in correctly but its awful and its been like that ever since it was installed.
Anybody know if theres a parameter he hasn't ticked etc?

We had problems last week with ours, had to get an enginner out (cost £65 too as we don't have the extended warranty) and we had to have our box replaced and something on the dish had to be replaced.

What brand of box do you own, is it Amstrad by any chance?

As you most probably know, sky is digital. The picture is either there, or it's not. The most 'in between' you'll get is blocking and jerking.

If the picture is, as you describe, like an analogue TV with a crap aerial then the problem is between the box and the TV. Or maybe even the box itself if you've elminated all other possibilities. Tried another TV? Different SCART leads?

I rang sky and the they said we will re send the signal :confused:

And as soon as he said try it now, They came on
