I am getting SKY FTTP soon but does anyone know how does Phone is connected?

ont box will be located downstairs but I would like Sky Router (Is it hub?) to ln my bedroom upstair.

The telephone will be downstairs in the living room.

You probably can't have the Sky Hub located on a different floor to the ONT unless you run the ethernet cable yourself / pay somebody else to do it.

The phone needs to plug into the back of the Hub, but you could plug a DECT base station in if you wanted to use the phones elsewhere.

Why do you want the Hub upstairs? Maybe leave it downstairs and put a switch upstairs, if you're having to run a cable anyway.

I already have network ports in almost every room on the wall :) and there will be a switch rack in my office room. I don't think it is a problem to route ethernet from ONT to office room and then connect to hub.
I did not realise a Phone will be connected to the Hub, damn!

I need to think where to put the Hub if I decided to leave the Hub downstair.

I have not moved to a new house yet but Openreach will visit in about 3 weeks.

Here is a floor plan of a living room

Option 1: Hub next to Phone on the tabke
Option 2: Hub is hidden inside the TV cabnet
Option 3: Hub is routed upstair.
