hey peeps :)

i'm considering getting the sky+/broadband/phone package but was wondering if i get sky+, is there any point keeping my pioneer 440H hdd/dvd recorder? i only use it for its hdd and occasionally divxs (but i can get a standalone divx player if need be)

also, is it worth going HD for an extra 200 quid and 10 quid a month or are people generally not bothering yet?

Probarly worth going HD, altough only about 10 channels atm. Supposidly going to be more near xmas though. :D

Also it seems to upscae standerd def channels nicly. HD boxes seem built better too, sky+ boxes are always going wrong, and they look better :p

I wouldn't bother with it anymore if you only use it for the hdd and not dvd writing.

right... went with sky+ cuz it only cost £49 and then when HD really takes of i can upgrade my my finances are a bit better :)

btw: is it possible to record from the sky+ box to the dvd recorder should on the off chance i want to back up something i've recorded for long term keeping?
