Sky.. Heads up

I joined Sky on Feb 4th this Year I took the 12 month free broadband deal my phoneline rental and calls also go through Sky, I have looked at my bill today and noticed there are NGN phone numbers on there,after a little more digging I have found that I am being charged by Sky for these people/companies who call me apparantly trying to sell things. Has anyone else heard of this

You think you're getting charged to receive calls? Are you sure you just haven't been calling companies that use 0871 type numbers, OcUK for example?

Sky DO NOT charge for calls received. What Sky calls package are you on? Either Weekends or Anytime?

But sky still don't charge for calls received? Personally I suspect half of those on the forum are at it hoping for a refund. If you dial the number yourself who does it go through to?

Just talked to a friend who is with sky he had 2 of these calls on his last bill they were calls to him and he was charged for them so something is wrong, I have talked to Sky and my call has been escalated so will wait to see what they say

I have just looked ay my bill and I have loads as well, um! I will most likely ring sky tomorrow and discuss this.

I'm with Sky and have just looked at my bill. Line Rental only, same as always.

The descriptions on the itemised bill are not always accurate. I thought I had 4 calls I couldn't account for but after searching the numbers it turns out they were legitimate calls. While this may not be the same case for everyone I just thought I'd mention it.
