Sky One - Colour of Magic

I'm confused, Cohen the Barbarian never showed up in the Colour of Magic, Hrun the Barbarian was one of the main characters, Cohen never showed up until the Light Fantastic ... am I missing something?

Wasn't Cohen mentioned in the second book (IIRC it's the second book when they hook up with his daughter - the wannabe hairdresser).


I'm surprised there hasn't been more noise about this, hopefully it will turn out well (I quite enjoyed the Hogfather).

Yes, Mackenzie Crook. That's exactly who should be playing Rincewind. David Jason? Behave, that's just crazy talk. He's nothing like how Rincewind is portrayed!

Also, surely TwoFlower should be played by an oriental actor what with the Agatean Empire being based on China and all.

there was a big discussion about it when it was first announced, i've not heard a word in favour of david jason playing rincewind

agreed, there were some good suggestions in the previous thread. some very poor casting decisions. just hoping on the basis of hogfather being a success that they can pull it off
