Would anyone know when sky is going to offer full HD content on their player,i think the sd quality is shocking compaired to bbci player..

Dunno, but have you hooked your HD box up to your broadband connection so sky player on demand works through your tv without the need for a laptop??

i wish they added more channels...

and i dont think they will be upgrading for a while. i thought i was the only person that used it lmao

Imm sure the ethernet on back of box is disabled till sky roll out there services like bt vision, and will only work if you have sky broadband, same as bt vision do.
Sky anytime dose not work with my HD box(hence wanting to catch up on telly on sky player),as i only have one feed going into my box and the option for single feed knocks anytime off if no one didn't know that.:(

Got sky+ anytime on my hd box and it rocks, find Sky Player very good, can sit my daughter on it to watch the kids bits, movies when I want and stream the footy and cricket at will, cant see what the issue is.

I'mm not saying its rubbish at what it does like streaming and programmes, just running it on a 27.5 monitor looks a bit ruff without HD content.

Nope, if you take a wonder over to the skyuser.co.uk forums and have a look there on how to get it working (if your box is new enough). I am pretty sure it works with any BB provider.

When I got mine three weeks back it only works with Sky broadband.
Ah well. I must say I thought that they wouldnt restrict it going by what was being said over there. Not that I mind Sky BB as it has been great from day one for me.

I don't have a HD TV and thus havent bother requesting a HD box from then, so I don't get the new toy :(

i only have one of the two feeds going in to my hd box and i still get anytime
i know it stops u recording 2 chans at at the same time never heard of it knockin anytime off tho

Sky need enough people to live within broadband areas that can support a HD stream. They're not like iPlayer or the other free legal services here.

But they should really roll it out for the money they charge.

I'm not that optimistic though, for all the legal services available in this country only iPlayer's worked reliably for me. ITV, C4 and Sky Player itself have been problematic.

aye bud it does work on the odd time, but i get the dreaded no sat signal when i put the two feeds modes on,this is a common problem you will find people talking about on AVforums, just hope one day i can move out where i live and get 2 feeds to my box,(not possible where i live communion dish was installed before sky+ was invented)
