Hi guys. I hope someone on here can help me with an issue I am having.

I have a Sky Q box running in to a Denon X3300w on a LG 4k UHD 64" TV.

I have the sky q box set to 2160 UHD 10 bit but every now and then the sky q box will change the setting over to 1080p?

It's very frustrating have to keep changing this over.

Any one else have this issue? Or ever better a fix?

I did many moons ago it was a combination or one of the following that stopped it -

1. Turn off ECO on the Q box.
2. Make sure the AVR is set to bypass in video output.
3. Make sure the TV is fully updated.

Hi and thank you for your reply.

1. Eco setting has been switched off from day one.
2. Bypass? Not to sure where this setting is on the denon setup? Do you know?
3. TV has latest updates

?

It does seem to drop back to 1080 whenever there’s a software update. Or if you ever do a ‘reset settings’ on the sky box.

So do you have this issue as well?

Mine will do it very randomly some days but not all the time?

Wish there was a setting on sky q box to lock the UHD setting..

Ohh if the Denon setting is still auto expect a boost in image quality once you choose bypass.

Go to setup (osd) then video then output settings then select video mode and bypass. Do this for all inputs on the Denon.

In auto the Denon adds processing to the image.
