Hey because me and my mates are super cool we want to watch wrestlemainia on Sunday night. I used to subscribe to sky but now just use the box as a glorified (and rubbish) freeview box. I don't think that you can get pay per view on the xbox either.

Advice needed overclockers!!

Thanks!

How the **** have you managed that? I've never seen, or heard of even, a Sky Satellite box working from a tv aerial for Freeview. I'd bet money that you're not..

Presumably he means he's watching the free channels on Sky, through a satellite dish (i.e. he doesn't have a sky subscription)

It's pay per view. Indeed.

No idea how you'd manage to get to see it, find a new friend with Sky?

Oh right; he's either watching free-to-air satellite (FTA) TV then or if he's got an expired Sky card in it he's watching Freesat-from-Sky (FSFS).

Then why did he say he's watching Freeview?. Had me confused as wrestlemainia isn't on Freeview or Topuptv! (and they don't do viewing cards for genereic freeview boxes anymore anyway!)

;)

You are right, "digital aerial" is a bad choice of words. However, it was meant to denote an aerial capable of receiving and producing a signal that can be interpreted by a digital receiver.

Since we're being anal :p.
