Sky Router Firmware Upgrade!!!

Ok just found this link and tested it on my router and worked fine,

For those who want to take out those horrible lockouts that sky so generously put in heres a tutorial on how to upgrade your firmware on the sky/netgear DG834GT router

So far connectivity seems to be more responsive and reliable from what i've seen

Please note i won't take responsibility for people mucking up their routers, do only at your own risk!

You can put a 3rd party firmware on that router as well which gives more option. You can get it here http://www.emulesecurity.net/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1240

Do you know if this would work on a Netgear supplied by Telewest a while back?
Been trying to flash that bleeder for ages and it just bums out - says no device detected when you run the software!
