Sky sending OR engineer

Sky are sending an openreach engineer to try and find out why I'm having huge SNR drops and dropouts at certain times of the day, anyone got any ideas if the engineer will find he problem or just tell me I will have to put up with it?

No one will know as it depends on the fault. Wait till the OR guy turns up and hope hes a capable fellow.

He should be able to sort the issue out; the two times I've dealt with OR engineers (1 work, 1 home) they were great, really liked getting the problem solved.

In one case they replaced the entire line from the street cabinet back to our house, at work they discovered that the cable run was full of water and shorting the line so had a groundworks team sort it out a few weeks later.

I'd be hopeful
