Hi all, running into performance issues/frame drops while gaming on Battlefield 1
took a good look at system performance all yesterday from task manager and im basically nearly maxing my CPU/RAM out most of the time and 100% when things get real intense! im unable to run on ultra settings or to my monitors refresh rate of 120hz so had to limit my graphics to a lower settings & 60fps soo pretty convinced id like to spend a little on upgrades
CPU: Intel Core i5-6600K
GPU: Nvidia GTX 980
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2400
MBD: Gigabyte GA-Z170N-WIFI-CF
Case: Silverstone raven rvz02
RAM is an easy swap for 16gb of the same but as Im limited on the CPU cooler size (silverstone ARG-06 58mm tall) due to the case, what direction would you guys go? External AIO Cooler + Overclock or drop in a 6700k on the same cooler? If im not limited to skylake, is there something a bit better than a 6700k i could go for?
Thanks
