Skylake non-k bus overclocking

Has anyone tried this yet?

The I3 could have a lot more potential and £50+ less for a locked I5/I7 might make them a lot better value for money if they can still be clocked to some extent.

Skylake can run crazy BLK no issue so its obviously locked otherwise no one would buy K SKU.

Ever since the Clarkdale I3s Intel has made sure that everything without a K on it is locked to high heaven.

Unlocked I3? would probably be *the* best and most popular gaming CPU. That's why they keep them locked down, to force you to the I5 and I7 which cost considerably more.

i have seen the screenshots. es samples did 160mhz bclk+. retail samples do ~102 as they have different stepping i had the same plan until i found out that they changed the stepping.
