Ahh, the R34 Skyline. Overweight, and over-rated. Great as a platform for creating a monster, but as standard? No thanks.

Siliconslave: That Z is just sexual.

Have you driven one? grip is endless, doesnt need úber power to own most things round a track ;) awesome cars :)

Yes. Huge bodyroll as standard, and it's very artificial feeling. Yes, it has huge grip (thanks to electronic trickery), but grip doesn't equal handling. Have you read the ongoing saga on MLR when the guy sold his EVO and got an R34 GTR, and hated it? Pretty much sums it up.

Like I said, great as a base for creating a monster, but other than that totally over-rated.

Id have said the same about a RX7 :p

LOL, give me a standard RX7 over a standard Skyline of any discription.

RX7 FD = Widely renowned as one of the best handling cars ever made. Lighweight, responsive, sublime to drive. Held the world record for the fastest stopping production car. Utterly no compromise design.

Standard Skyline GTR = Artificial 'grip', loads of bodyroll, too heavy, not enough power.

Someone dig the link out - it's a classic :D

As for the R30 - it mings, but I'm not really a retro sort.

I hate Skylines btw.
