Can't believe no-one has mentioned Lync. Skype is more aimed at consumer use, Lync is more ideal for business. I understand the OP required Skype for an interview, but for internal business meetings Lync makes more sense.

I dont like anything my company uses, including lync, so naturally I would forget about it during these trying skypeless times.

Lync has become deprecated in favour of Skype for Business.

Skype for Business is just Lync rebranded. Skype is still better

Why bother running your own Lync/Skype infrastructure - just use Skype in the cloud.

Because it gives businesses the control over viewing messages & history of its staff.
