Skyrim won't use second GPU!

Hi all,

I recently acquired a second 7970ghz to use in crossfire with my original one. I had no issues setting it all up and everything appears to be working in order (detected in CCC ext.).

I have however immediately noticed that my second GPU does not come out of its power saving mode when I play Skryim (I can see it isn't turned on inside the case, it lights up when it's working). I have tested with other games such as black flag and both cards are switched on and working.

Does anybody know how I can solve this issue, I've Googled it to little avail. I'm using mods at the moment, could it be simply because I'm using an ENB? The issue is present whether I run SKSE or not.

Full screen mode is on, I'm aware Xfire won't work with windowed applications.

I've just checked and although the gaming evolved application says my 14.1 is up to date 14.3 is available on the website so I'll download that now, I doubt it'll be of any help however.

I'll make a post on the nexus forums as well I'm sure people have had this issue before, which is a real pain because the upgrade was so I could blow the game out the water and hardly get frame-dips.

EDIT:
I did some further reading on Google and came across the issue crossfire users can experience with ULPS. I have now disabled this in the registry and (according to MSI afterburner, which I now how to use instead of simply seeing if the light is on or not) BOTH GPUs are now being used (I have turned all my mods off and removed the ENB however but hopefully it has nothing todo with this!).

Disabling ULPS also gave me a performance boost lol so it is the best thing to do with crossfire.
