Image taken at weekend

I took some good pics yesterday from the bottom and from the top of the Burj Khalifa. I can't upload them until I get home on Thursday though. Apparently, according to a taxi driver, it started in the kitchen.

Weirdly, we drove past it last night from the other side and there are people still residing there. We clearly saw people in their rooms.

As far as ive seen people are allowed in to check/retrieve belongings when accompanied by an official. The ground floor is all taped off and not just anyone allowed near it.

Other side doesnt look too badly damaged at all but ive seen some impressive photos of it smoking the morning after.

Positive that it held together ok. Although now there obviously going to be some investigation work as to what happened, why, could it have been prevented or contained, scrutinising checking done on the core structure of the building to see what damage it has done to its core
