SKYSCRAPER

Shame that you go from Jumanji and it being refreshing seeing him in that compared to this. He keeps selling it as 'an original idea not based on a film or book etc' Looks like it's taken plenty of hints from other sources.

An original idea that looks like a mash up of Die Hard and The Towering Inferno....

Watched it this morning and it's quietest screen I've been in for months, less than 10 people. I don't know how to best describe it, a poor mans Die Hard but without everything Die Hard stood for, I get that The Rock wants to make films his kids could watch or something along those lines but they could have done so much more with this by going for a higher rating.

CGI CGI everywhere, there's one bit where it looks like they took a image of The Hulk climbing a building and sticking The Rock over the top of it, looked ridiculous.

Thought it was rather rubbish. Can't help thinking DJ would do anything for a $ nowadays
Nowadays? His whole career has been crap movies for cash. He hasn't done one actual good filmI yet. It's not like he's out there taking part in films because he thinks the roles are interesting or raise awareness of important events in history etc.

He's a giant steroid balloon doing brain-dead action flicks and isn't suited to much else due to how he looks. Even if he could act could you imagine him doing a seriously dramatic role? You just wouldn't be able to take him seriously.

Mini rant over.
