YOu only really need the first one. The other two are more packages you can install. If you have access to the interent you probably don't need the other two.FordPrefect said:Just installing it now

Ye the other 2 CDs are extras such as KDE packages and tex etc. Seems good so far tho Good ole slack

I installed it earlier. The old skool installer was a bit of a chore and samba wan't working properly on completion. I whacked on SUSE 10.2 instead. I like Yast

The thing I like about Slackware is it's fast as hell. Lightweight distros are more my cup of tea, with plenty of available modules, which allow the easy build up of custom systems with minimal bloatware.
I like slax.
