Slamming doors

Hi slamming doors… It is becoming an annoying habit in this home (not mine) that rattles the whole home.

The firedoors i have got I think are 35mm are all good as they are heavier but the ‘fancy’ ones with glass in em are thinner and habits being habits these doors get slammed and they annoy the hell out of me.

To a certain extent the floors are uneven
As some of these doors close on their own eventually so that + annoying slamming habits are a bad combo.


I wonder is there a solution to this problem? I thought about putting a weight on the door or some type of plastic thing inside

I guess a quick google right now won’t hurt thanks.
 
Came here expecting you to say you have door closers and they slam by themselves if you're not careful. We have door closers thanks to the landlord, and careless housemates and guests let them slam all the time. It's driven my partner to panic attacks at times.

Actual humans slamming the doors? That's nothing, tell them to ****ing stop it! Git gud, scrub. :D

This was my mum's strategy, we only had a door on the toilet. Now aged 35 I'm juuust starting to realise why I dislike doors so much!
