Slave not being picked up

As title really my slave drives not being picked up both drives are on the same cable would this make a difference?

Nah my slave has been in there for well over a year

Ive recently upgraded my memory to a gig, dunno if that matters

Check cable is secure.
Is it picked up in the bios? If so go to control panel/admin tools / comp management/disk management. Click on it if its there and it might give you the option to activate/import it.

Nah not there i already checked that bit earlier

Ill have a mess with the cables see if that the prob
