Sledge advice

My name is Paul and I like old sleds...

I have one from the 70's called EKO-BOB I dont think you can pick these up anymore though. Get some dinner trays, much more interesting!

No what you want is a car bonnet being towed by a 4x4 in a large car park

= mucho fun

No, what you want is to be dragged along up and down the peak district whilst on your skis/snowboard, being towed by a P1 with snow tyres and a wakeboarding line off the back...

Couldn't get too Asda as it involved a 2 degree uphill incline.

Managed to get to Sainsburys and apparently they're way too posh to sell sledges.

Failure is me.

I don't know about where, but the best sledge I have ever owned is this one:

It says Delta on the back and it's the fastest thing on no wheels, takes major punishment too, I've landed it off some incredibly heavy jumps. I've also been rear ended when stationary by a wooden toboggan carrying a family of 5.

I bet you have!

i had one that looked like that Biggles, very thick plastic iirc

can't beat a sheet of plastic sometimes however :D

Never actually been sledging, anyone know where I can buy some hills at this time of year?

I've got a Pennine Peak that you can have, it's a bit tatty, and it has done well over a million miles, but it does have a full council service history, and is very good in the snow.
