Sleeping Dogs

How do I change the graphic settings? I've put 'graphics' to custom, went into advance and everything I try and change reverts when I scroll to another setting.

God this is retarded, it won't even let me change my graphics, I set it to extreme and everything stays at max except Anti Aliasing which just keeps jumping to random settings each time I try and change one of the other graphics settings.

Wtf did the developers do?

Great, now I'm stuck with everything maxed out, even when I set them to low, gonna be stuttering around like a retard. Seriously wtf.

WHY WONT IT LET ME CHANGE MY ****ING GRAPHICS SETTINGS OMFG

Have the exactly same problem, seems quite a few other people do as well:

Tried all the fixes/methods and this was the only one that worked for me:

Heres what I had to do after patch to change advanced settings

change settings, save them on that screen, exit, exit again and choose no when it asks to save again

EDIT:

BTW when you encounter the first part where you pick a lock, the controls are wrong as well

The movement up is actually "W" and the left click is actually the left arrow key.

Maybe my outburst was over the top but I just spent money on a game that appeared to force me to play with extreme SSAO and max quality supersampling. Thankfully the config worked, because the change settings and save etc method didn't work. Thank you kind sirs.

Such a weird thing to mess up, it actually acts as though your config is read only or something, when it isn't.

I fixed it by setting the graphics to extreme in the basic options and then it saved the advanced options after that :p

I have put another 4 hours in trying to collect lockboxs, health shrines, races etc and still got a lot to go.. deffo get your moneys worth if someone plans on rushing the story mode

Been playing this a little, not had too long with it but what I've played is promising. Story, mission setup and city etc all seem fun!

Only thing really letting me down is the driving. Handling is some of the worst I've seen in a recent open worlder and coupled with that awful shakey cam high speed thing I find driving a chore which is sad as I usually like the exploring side of things.

Nice to see theres plenty to keep you occupied on the side though - this will keep me going a while I think.

Agree about the shaky cam, it's a terrible effect. Feels like the framerate is chugging badly, though you can tell it isn't even without an fps counter as the vehicle movement remains smooth.

The first mod has been made but not released, it just frees up the camera on the cars like GTA how it has the different views

For people having the reverting back settings prob, just choose the settings you want then use the benchmark, worked for me and some other people

without the shakey camera driving would be too easy its there for a reason to make races harder also gives the effect your driving very fast, they could have just given a blur effect instead though.

All I've ever seen when I looked into them was tons of people claiming their keys had been revoked by Steam and some codes already being used.

Which group is more vocal, the happy group or the angry group?

CJS have messed up pretty badly a couple times, for the most part they are fine though.
