Sleeping Dogs

Has anyone had any experience of Gamefly taking 2x £1 as well as the purchase amount from the bank?
I bought Sleeping Dogs using the 20% off code (Thanks!) and it appears as if Gamefly have done a very weird transaction.
It's only £2 but it's the principle, lots of £2 overcharges like that and they'll soon be rolling in it.
Any ideas?
Cheers.

Got it at the weekend direct from SqureEnix in a sale.

Started playing yesterday and went for about an hour. Noticed quite a few bugs. One in particular in the opening foot chase left me pretty peeved (NPC bloke you're following inexplicably stops but the action doesn't, he's just a lemon so you have to chase air until you get to the end of the segment and his clone appears...) but it does seem like a fun experience.

Does anyone know if it's got a reputation for being particularly buggy?

I've got back into it recently and am really enjoying it... I've only played just under 10 hours but there hasn't been a single bug that I've noticed so far, so either I'm lucky or you're unlucky!

There has been one 'bug' but it was my fault at I decided to jump off something I wasn't supposed to sand got stuck between a ramp and the side of a pier walkway :D Was resolved by saving and reloading :)

Think I found a couple of bugs, one mission I had to restart due to a similar bug as Tazzfalcon mentioned, but it was only the one restart.

Game on the whole is rather nice, AI is pretty dire but the combat and action more than make up for it :)

After Tomb raider I will return to this, so many games I've sidelined to play one game at a time. I've played about 40 minutes of this so far and it's pretty good although I can't decide if I prefer pad or KB/mouse.

Soon...

I started off with KB+M but I find for games like this (GTA esque games) pad is far easier for me...

I enjoyed this too, and it's not usually my genre of choice. Thought the DLC was very unimpressive compared with the main game though.

did you play the DLC that was like Enter the Dragon. Where you goto an island and fight your way through the bosses. I thought that looked cool, but I had no desire to continue once I completed the game. Don't get me wrong I loved Sleeping Dogs, but once I finished the main game I was eager to play something else.

I only played this a bit when I got it on release last year.

I just installed it again and have spent all day playing, have to say it is a fantastic game. I am enjoying it way more than GTA4 that I could never get into.

One of the most underrated games ever?

on steam sale for a fiver, should i pick this up?

started GTA 4 tiwce and do like the game but got no where near completing it, just sorta stopped...

looks nice?

anyone run it in 3D vision?

Yes its a superb game imo. If you love GTA type games you'll love this. Whack up the AA to Extreme and enjoy the visuals.
