Sleeving network cable?

Hi all. Anyone know if this sleeve will work to cover a ethernet cable and if it will stretch over the rj45 connnector or does it require the connector to be cut off prior to sleeving?

Cuz its been plastered behind a wall. And goes to a wall mounted wifi access point. In hindsight should have bought white cable but had a roll of grey so meh.
Could paint the cable but thought would give sleeving a try first.
Dont want to cut the connector off and risk running short on cable.

Sockets not as tidy as just cable coming out the wall and running along side the accesspoint and then into it from the bottom.
Painting the cable is probably the best option
