SLI AM3

I am sure there are others but the only board that I know supports this MSI NF980-G65. Though this board is around £150 though.

Edit: I think there is an asus board too but can't find which one it is. Search this forum or generally for a motherboard with the 980 Chipset.

As above, the only AM3 SLI boards use Nvidia chipsets and have not been made for a few years.

Instead of getting one of these boards (and you need more GPU power) then you are probably better off either:

- changing your GPU to an AMD one (use a crossfireX capable AM3 board if you want to be able to add a second card in the future)
- change your GPU to a much faster single card
- change your motherboard and CPU to Intel X58, P55 or P67 - certian boards using these chipsets properly implement SLI

As andi suggests you will not get the best performance because these boards use lucid/hydra chips take some of the good stuff from your cards.

I fully agree with the three suggestions he mentioned.
