I got a few small questions regarding SLI that i'd like to quickly ask;

> Is it possible for me to have a GeForce 8800 GTS + GeForce 8600 GT sli'd
> Will 600 Watts be enough
> and is there any other requirements, i.e. will i need a Sli Compatble motherboard or something

Thanks in advance

1. No, have to be same core. Although they can be from different manufacturers (as long as the core is the same)
2. Probably not
3. You need an SLI compatible motherboard. In the case of the 8800 only a 680i-based motherboard because you need dual 16x PCI-E.

You can find SLI certified components, and other SLI info here: http://www.slizone.com/object/slizone_ecosystem.html

As above, but 600w will be fine for SLI 8600GT. 8800GTS may need a bit more, although i think nvidia say 500w is ok

Im fairly sure 8800s dont have to have dual 16x lanes, they will work on any SLI enabled mobo, but just at 8x

Correct.

I'd have been looking at a 650i based board had I stuck with nVidia.
