Hi Guys

I bought the following last year from Overclockers, love it :-)

Battlefield War Commander Intel Core i5 2500K 3.30GHz @ 4.60GHz DDR3 Limited Edition Quad Core System [BF3-PC]
Power Supply: OCZ ZS 850w PSU
GTX 570 1280mb

Stupid questions of the day!

1. If want to SLI this rig do I have to have 2 cards of exactly thes same spec?
2. Would the additional card come with Sli bridge connector (or do you not need those anymore).
3. If I don't need 2 cards the same, what would complement the GTX570?

Hope this makes sense, thanks in Advance :-)

1) You'll need to get another GTX 570 with the same amount of VRAM (ideally with the same or very close clock/memory speeds although this isn't too important)
2) No - it would come with your motherboard if it has one
3) See point one - you can only go SLI with the same card

Which motherboard does that system come with?

Hi Rusty

Motherboard : ASUS P8-Z68-V, found the SLI cable in the box, thank you for that.

The GTX 750 , was a windofrce that I note doesn't appear to be on Overclockers anymore?

Sorry whats VRAM?

Thanks

1280mb it says in your first post m8

What resolution do you game at? And what games ? Is the 570 struggling ?

Even with sli you would only have 1280 VRAM which if on a high res screen. 2560 x 1440 might struggle with all things cranked up,

I'm not sure how much a 2nd 570 will cost u would selling the 570 and getting a faster single card be the better option it all depends on the answers to the above m8 ,
