SLI on crossfire mobo

If my mobo says it is crossfire reay can you use a SLI ready card like the Gainward BLISS GeForce 8800 GT Golden Sample 1024MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (4718462009016 on it?
 
It is also the same for using a crossfire card on an sli board. You just cant use 2 of the cards on them. (ie try to run xfire on sli and vice versa)

You used to be able to SLi on Crossfire boards... Had to use some dodgy drivers though, and they have closed that loophole up a while ago now. :(
