Slight Problem?

ok just picked up red faction guerilla 2nd hand today , installed but then coming to play it and its requiring windows live login stuff which i have and the cd key which i also have but when i click to activate it it tells me how this cd key is binded to another email address ( the last owners most probably )
so without that specific email i cant play it

are there anyways to reset the cd key to get it working?

most shops near me dont allow trading of pc games unless new because of this. Otherwise people will buy the game, copy it, return it to the shop for part-ex or something, and then a buyer like yourself are stuck.

see if you can return it to where you bought it and explain.

Guess you could try an offline profile. Not that it will fix any online side of the game - personally I'd take the game back to where you bought it.

they probably can't unless there's a huge sign saying "off-line only".

Take it back (ideally at a busy time) have a polite word and ask for a refund if they refuse make a scene about them selling pirate/dodgy/unusable games
