Slightly confused

In my new system I want an SSD to both hold the OS and lots of other stuff that will benefit from an SSD. I also want the SSD to accelerate the HDD. I will be using a Z68 chipset (I believe that helps).

Do I need 2 SSD's for this or will just the one do both?

You can do it on one SSD drive, but you will need a spare HDD (doesnt have to be an SSD) to copy your OS onto while you set it up.
