Slimline cameras

I'm looking at something pretty slim around the £160ish mark

So far its looking between

Canon Exilim Z60
Nikon Coolpix S3
Fujifilm Z1

Does anyone have an experience with these or similar cameras all the reviews i've read seem to put them fairly similar with possibly the Nikon coming out on top but the Black model seems to have jumped in price :confused:
 
That's a Casio, NOT a Canon.

Get a Canon Ixus :)

What will you be using it for? Personally i'd get an Ixus 65, but that's probably a bit expensive, so maybe a 60 or a 55.

Yeah was just having a look at the 55 but might be a bit over my budget once i've bought extra memory aswell.

Mainly just for using for nights out thus the smallness so it doesnt look odd in my pocket, just need to find one that wont be too bad with poor light conditions
 
I use an Ixus i5 for nights out. Things have moved on a bit since the i5 though, but i'd still get an Ixus of some sort :)

A memory card is only ~£20 for 1gb, so don't worry about that too much.

Im think Matt is on commission for Canon selling their Ixus range :p

Another one I can reccomend is the Fuji F10 or F11. They are great in low light conditions but I'm not sure if its as slim as the casio one.

They don't need to be 'that' slim. My Ixus is smaller than my k700i phone :) So anything under 90x50x20 would be ideal i'd have thought.

Also, get one that's really easy to use, as i'm sure when on nights out it won't just be you using it.
 
Hmm but the Canon is hitting £200 with the extra card card really afford that, the others are around 170ish with the extra card

If there's not a lot between them, have you tried going to a shop and having a look at them and giving them a test?
 
Just ive been thinking of getting the canon digital ixus i...

obviously just for the odd trip out/nights out, random things.. nothing serious. its about £180 here on ocuk.. is that worth it?
