Slooooow order

Never used the place in question, but when I rang up asking about a few parts they just seemed like a poor one man band with nothing actually in stock.

Used the german rival place too and the CS from the UK side was terrible however there german warehouse where they ship from seemed to be on it.

Really though I just use OCUK or another UK site which are good - there is a good dutch site i use often as well as they seem to carry the best selection of bitspower.

There was only 2 places in Europe that sold the item I was after, I went with the uk based one, could well be a mistake :( they had 2 in stock and now showing 1, hope to god that the 1 that's gone is mine. They don't have a phone number anymore or not that I can find to check my order. It's a good Job I'm waiting for my CPU to come back!!

The item which I want is now not showing stock, Grrrr. Got just short of £300 tied up with them :( only phone # I found is not in use, flipping muppets

Yeah, they-actually are muppets. If I have pictures of the crappy w/c external build they did for me you'd laugh your head off (few years ago now). Think Rob was his name...

They shouldn't be allowed to trade. Can't be done with Billy's bedroom business bull**** :D

Just sent an email telling them to get my complete order to me by Monday or give me a refund, can funds be reclaimed by a bank on a debit card??

Don't know if my threatening email worked as I have just received despatch confirmation. I will be happy when it's in my hands and tested.

Was just forced to make an order from the slow shop as I couldn't get those bits here  Wish me luck! :D

Don't worry OcUK, I just spent nearly three times as much on the order I placed here for the main bulk of bits :)

I only use retailers for consumables and fixings, would always go to the manufacturer for blocks.

What shop you referring to?
ST or W*U*?

If it's the former you get free shipping if you are a loyal forum member and they are very fast.
If it's the latter then I agree

I had to go with the latter.
To be fair, I've only ever had one real issue with long delays with them and that was over the christmas period.

On another note, have OcUK just started shipping on saturdays? It's just that I ordered yesterday and got a shipping notice. I always thought that anything ordered on Fri/Sat didn't get packed up and shipped until Monday.

I recently put a rad, CPU block, tube and various fittings together in OCUK basket. Waited a week or so, and every item was still out of stock.

I find OCUK customer service and delivery speed to be excellent, and this forum is also top notch for pre sales or technical queries. For this reason OCUK are my first port of call when buying parts, but when it comes to water cooling I have had to look elsewhere.

I'm sure there are good reasons for this, but hopefully the stock situation improves for the better when it comes to future upgrades.

Had to order something from USA and god have mercy. Maybe they do the same thing as the W shop :D

In an ideal world i would order everything from OcUK, but i've come to realise that sometimes this can't be the case! I've found for some of the parts i need they don't hold enough stock!

I'm waiting to RMA a product with one of these shops! slow isn't the word! if it was OcUK i'd of had the refund by now!

I always buy from ocuk unless it's massively cheaper at another reputable retailer or ocuk don't have it in stock and I need it. Do pretty much all my pc purchasing through ocuk now and will for the foreseeable future. Them being round the corner is also a massive bonus

My nice goodies arrived today, phew, everything looks ok.
Got some rad covers but there too big :/ by quite a bit too, you would think if you ordered a 420 grill it would basically cover like the fans would, but, no (Phobya) angle grinder to the rescue!!

So I ordered on Saturday and here's what they say today: "Warehouse Allocation - Your order has been received by our warehouse and stock is being allocated prior to shipment."

Well that's nice and clear. I've sent a note to ask if they actually have the stuff or if they're ordering it in. Takes the **** if things are listed as in stock on the site and it really shouldn't take until the second working day after ordering for them to notify the so-called warehouse.
