I have a £9.99 wilkinsons own brand one that I think is 1 or 1.5litres and its barely big enough for a single person.
I Just ordered a 3.5litre one last night
I'm planning to make meals in the 3.5litre and then just use the small one to reheat portions up as it heats up uber fast with it being so small
It means I can also make mash potatoes in the small one and in the big one have the rest of the sheppards pie stuff cooking etc.
I love making mash in a slow cooker
just dice the potatoes , stick a bit of water and milk in (not a lot or it will be runny mash once you mash it) and leave it simmering for a few hours.
It almost mashes itself :O
