Slow Crucial M4

I have a Crucial M4 and after a fresh windows install I am only getting 5.9 on WEI. Also on AS SSD Bench my scores are rather low compaired to others I have seen, also in the box where is says drive name and driver version plus 1024 K - OK mine says msahci - OK when others say iaStore - OK. Is this normal or? Is there anything I can do to get the speeds back to normal?

What is your motherboatd?
Does it have Intel SATAIII ports?
Seems like your one is on Marvell port

I'm using a P8P67 Pro Rev 3.1 and an Intel SATA port, my rating was 7.9 before this install.

Make sure you're using an Intel SATA 3 port, they're the white ones.

Install Intel RST

I have just installed RST and will be rebooting after Britians Got Talent has finished, haha. I am definately running it on an intel port 100%.

Yeah a white one, definately Intel 6GB/s. Also checked the manual to be even more sure. I'm now 200% sure haha.

Okay, thats done and it's now a lot faster, however everything but my seq seem to still be much slower than others I have seen.

There is a difference there, should I be worried about this or? WEI is back to 7.9 on everything, I know it's not anything to go by but it shouldn't have been 5.9 with an M4.

You've installed using AHCI mode on an Intel SATA 3 port and Installed Intel RST so I'm not sure what else you can do.
