Got a strange problem with my 74GB Raptor. The other drives in the pc are not affected

I'm running Win 7 and after I've put the pc to sleep then awoken it again the read speed is halved.
If I shut down and reboot every thing is back to normal....until the pc sleeps again.

After waking from sleep....well until a reboot

I've updated to the latest Intel Matrix storage drivers which makes no difference apart from it wakes a lot quicker.

Anyone with any idea's I'd be much obliged.

In device manager does the controller properties show as being in a lower DMA mode after waking?
Try changing to IDE mode if you're using AHCI to see if it makes a difference.

That's a good point, but.... there are no details in the device manager>controller options to find out what DMA mode its running in. Not even the Intel Matrix storage manager tells you.
Its running in RAID mode so any non RAID disks automatically default to AHCI.
I've got 2*250 Gb in RAID 0 , 1*250GB, and the 74GB Raptor.
Its only the raptor that does it.

Moved the Raptor to the JMicron controller.
Problem solved.
Musn't have liked the Intel controller after sleeping for some reason.
