slow hard drives ??

Hi All
i have just done a HD Tune test on my hard drives , well 2 are running pretty fast but 2 others are running at around 64mbs ....one is an ide drive and the other is a sata drive .
The 2 that are running fast are also sata drives .

The 2 that are slow are -
Maxtor 6V300FO
Western Digital WD3200JB-OOK

Im running vista 64bit and have a raid 0 setup on this system but the 2 slow ones and 1 fast one are not in raid setup

Should they be running at around 64mbs or is that slow ??

So the Maxtor and the WD are benching at ~64MB/s ? I assume that's the sustained transfer rate and if so that's about right.

well they basically sustain that speed , might drop a bit on one of them , cannot remember which one .
I expected one of them to be running a bit faster as it is using sata II and the other ide ....is it cause they are old drives ? few years old now but the sata is 7200rpm model .
